Recipient of charitable aid: healthcare institutions, children’s residential care facilities, specialized orphan residential schools, rehabilitation centres for children with disabilities, specialized educational and residential mixed-type facilities for pre-school children and school aged children, shelter care facilities for youth, family-type children’s homes, children from rural areas, child inmates of special detention and rehabilitation centres and pre-trial detention facilities, vulnerable families.
Health Protection of Mother and Child. Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology under the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine
Assistance to state institution “Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology under the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” (IPOG NAMS) to facilitate saving lives of women and babies during childbirth and their treatment, creation of comfortable conditions for little patients through material and technical support, donation of medical supplies for treating patients, improvement of psychophysical and emotional condition of patients receiving treatment in SI “IPOG NAMS”.
The institution needs to have repair works and up-to-date medical equipment for saving lives of pregnant women, as well as new-borns. A lot of the facility’s severely conditioned patients, coming from all regions of Ukraine, are in need of expensive medicines and proper nutrition.
Preservation and promotion of public health, improvement of healthcare quality and efficiency, facilitation of social justice and people’s rights to health services. As a part of the project, we plan to provide medical supplies to those in need, organize lectures and seminars on health-related topics;
Control and prevention of sight-threatening diseases in children.
Program “Walking to the Health Land” has been launched by United World Cultures Foundation in 2017 as a response to the compelling need to raise public awareness of health issues and factors contributing to good health or, on the opposite, negatively affecting children.
