United World Cultures Foundation has created the project «HEAR THE WORLD» of «Walking to the Health Land» program for children and adults with hearing problem to return to a full life by giving them audiphones.
Angelina and Dmytrik were born deaf. Children with such diagnosis are able to hear only very loud sounds. The last hope for them is highly sensitive audiphones but parents cannot afford them.
«When I heard from my daughter about the project «HEAR THE WORLD» for children and adults of «Striding in the land of health» program of «United World Cultures» Foundation I was glad but worried as well. We have such a financial crisis nowadays so I wasn’t sure whether both of my grandchildren can get them. We addressed the Foundation and got the desired answer «We will help you! » Without Foundation and good people aid, my grandchildren would never be able to hear me. And now I have hope that the children will be talking well, Angelina will go to school and Dmitryk will go to kindergarten. Thank you from all my heart for your help. May all you intentions be realized and the world be good to you», – says Natalia Borisivna, the grandmother of Angelina and Dmytrik from Korostenskiy region, Zhytomyrska oblast.
Natalia who works as an audiologist and hearing healthcare professional is sure that in time the children will be able to talk: «Highly sensitive audiphones can compensate an essential sound perception; soon the children will be able to hear well and reproduce what they hear».
