For the fifth year, Zhytomyr City Children’s Public Organization Vse Robymo Sami (“We Do It All by Ourselves”) and the “LAV” Charitable Foundation organized the Grand Ball of Philanthropists, where they honored the most active philanthropists of the year. To the evening of Zhytomyr Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater was visited by a large number of guests. Among the ball guests were the heads of enterprises, city council deputies and businessmen, and there were many philanthropic activists from different parts of Ukraine, representatives of America, Germany and Norway.
The main goal of the ball is to thank all benefactors for doing good things every day; to award the most active benefactors for the work done during 2018.
Grand Ball of Philanthropists - sounds beautiful, but looks even better! One of the values of the Ball is his atmosphere of absolute sincerity, boundless love, because there were very strong spirits of parents of special children in the hall.
The World Oscar for Mercy was presented during the ball, made by the Swiss jewelry house "Art Vivace Jewelry". He was handed to his representative to Norway, the President of the International Charitable Fund "Open Heart" - Halvad Hesselou.
Guests at the stage of the Zhytomyr Drama Theater were greeted by famous singers - Olena Hrebenyuk, Lena Darkov, and ensemble of cellists of music school № 4, the group "Harmony and Sight", where children with special needs, as well as children from low-income families. For special children, this is not just a ball, but a huge event - it's the source of life - they sing songs and dance, they are in society. Such concerts and meetings are very helpful for sunny kids in this. Parents of children with special needs are performing modern dance on stage, in this way, to thank the benefactors for their constant help in solving many of their problems.
The employees of the program "Let’s Improve Children’s Lives” of the United World Cultures Foundation came to the event not with empty hands, but with gifts, stage jackets from the store Katarina, for boys with Down syndrome, the "Harmony and Sight" collective of the “We Do It All by Ourselves” and handed them immediately after the performance of the children on the stage of the Zhytomyr Theater them. An unexpected surprise for many present was the delivery of four new wheelchairs, an active type for more comfortable travel, families for three children with special needs. The fourth wheelchair is donated to the club for the day-care of children with special needs of the Zhytomyr City Children’s Public Organization Vse Robymo Sami (“We Do It All by Ourselves”) from the action "Special transport for people with disabilities" of the program "Walking To The Health Land" of the United World Cultures Foundation and the International Charitable Foundation "Promotion of the Development of Medicine".
