First of all, Ukrainians are ready to donate funds for medicine and health care

In summer, Charity Fund "United World Cultures" conducted a sociological survey of citizens of 5 Ukrainian cities - Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhya and Kryvyi Rig. The volunteers of the fund asked respondents to answer questions about their attitude to charitable organizations, personal charitable activities, and others.

On the results of the public opinion poll, see the website of the UWCF Charitable Foundation.

During the joint action of the Charity Fund "United World Cultures", the company "Luxoptika" and Auchan "See more - live better", held in July 8th, 2017 in all 11 Auchan hypermarkets in Ukraine, UWCF’s volunteers had conducted a sociological survey among residents Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporozhye and Krivoy Rog at the age of 16 years old and older.

The respondents had answered the questions:

  1. Do you trust charitable organizations?
  2. Do you donate money to charity?
  3. Do you participate as a volunteer in charity or charity activities?
  4. Which way of donating is most comfortable for you?
  5. How often do you check your eyesight?

The issue of checking and preventing vision requires special attention, so we will dwell on it a little later, and in this article we will talk about charity tendencies in Ukraine.

After analyzing all the answers, the Charity Fund "United World Cultures" summarizes the results of the sociological survey and provides its results in a percentage ratio. So,

  1. 61.2% of respondents trusted charitable organizations, trusted, but not all - 15.9%, not trusted - 22.9%;
  2. 59.1% of the respondents are donated to charity;
  3. Only 24.2% of respondents are engaged in volunteer activities, 2.4% are employees of charitable or public organizations.
  4. First of all, people are ready to donate funds to:
  • Medicine and health care - 68.1%;
  • Education and science - 13.6%;
  • Sport - 9.5%;
  • Culture - 9.1%;
  • Your option for children, ATO - 11.5%.

Medicine and health care is a priority direction of charity in the opinion of Ukrainians.

From the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Fund “United World Cultures”, it is seen that the focus of donating money to citizens, compared with 2014 and early 2015, in 2017 moved from donations for the army to the direction of medicine and health.

This statistics shows that now the great attention from the state is demanded by the healthcare system. In any country, one of the main indicators of the effectiveness of power is a well-functioning system of work of medical institutions. Caring about the health of citizens and the development of the medical sphere, the authorities are able to show that the future of their country and people is not indifferent to it. Therefore, the reform of the medical industry in Ukraine at the moment is one of the priority tasks. It is impossible to effectively implement economic reforms when people do not have health. The nation will be healthy - people will pay more attention to the development of education, science, culture and sport.

The United World Cultures Foundation believes that the prosperity of Ukrainians will increase, there will be stability and people will be happy!
