PRESENTATION OF THE UWCF CHARITY PROGRAM “TAKE KIDS AWAY FROM THE STREETS”. PROJECT FOR FREE SAMBO CLASSES

On 24 August 2016, Khreshchaty Park located in Kyiv near the Friendship of Nations Arch hosted, among other festivities to mark the Ukraine’s Independence Day, a presentation of the program “Take Kids Away from the Streets” of United World Cultures Foundation and the project on giving free sambo classes for children initiated by Skrypal Brothers’ Sambo School and the National Sambo Federation of Ukraine as a part of the above charity program.

The Skrypal brothers, Yuriy and Vadym, and the National Sambo Federation of Ukraine have launched free admission of children from low-income families, children of ATO participants, families of persons internally displaced from the ATO area, orphaned children and children deprived of parental care, to groups for sambo classes (self-defence without weapons).

At the event, the project initiators – Skrypal Brothers’ Sambo School, the National Sambo Federation of Ukraine, and the charitable foundation UWCF – told all the guests about the opportunity of FREE OF CHARGE sambo classes for children, and young sambo students showed their skills.

As a reminder, admission of children for free sambo classes is carried out at Povitroflotskyi Ave. 80, Kyiv, or at tel. (093) 394-44-44.

The initiators genuinely believe that this project for free sambo classes being implemented under the UWCF program “Take Kids Away from the Streets”, will help to build skill and open up new talents in those kids who would like to do sports but cannot afford paying for classes.
