Lysenko Lyudmila, Program and Project Manager of the United World Cultures Foundation, took part in the Second International Grant Fair in the field of culture.
This year, more than three times as many applications from participants were submitted to this international fair compared to last year. This is - 1409 applications from representatives of all industries. In particular, the largest is adiovisual art - 251 people, cultural heritage - 229, stage and performance art - 149, creative industries - 145, literature and publishing - 126, visual art - 124, audio art - 172 and design - 43. All participants had badges of various colors in accordance with the industry, which they represented and indicated at registration.
This year the event is supported by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, Public Space has become an information partner. This event is organized by the National Office of the EU Creative Europe Program in Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cultural Center to organize grantor contacts with representatives of cultural and creative industries who are in search of financial support for their cultural projects and initiatives in Ukraine.
The event was opened by: Ambassador and Head of European Union in Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Svitlana Fomenko, Chairman of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation Maryna Poroshenko and Executive Director of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation Yulia Fediv.
The First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Svitlana Fomenko during her speech noted that the Grants Fair is groving, and also expressed the hope that this trend will continue in the future.
The result of the participation of the UWCF representative in the Second International Grants Fair was the introduction of international and Ukrainian grant programs and the conditions for participation, the study of the experience of implemented projects in the field of culture. Information was also received about projects and programs that will provide international technical assistance in the fall of 2019.
