People have a natural and inherent wish to help others, but everyone has their own way to put it into action. Some do small deeds in their everyday lives; some donate thousands to help those in need. And there are those who dedicate a particular part of their lives to philanthropy and receive the official title of “philanthropists”.
In Ukraine, we have hundreds of charitable organizations. Not all of them, however, have the status of tested and reliable charity providers. The Ukrainian Charity Map can be used to identify those foundations and organizations that comply with the rules, show achievements in their work and keep their accounts open. The map indicates all charity providers that meet the requirements and have already proved their reliability.
It is for these transparent and accountable organizations that the Ukrainian Philanthropists Forum annually holds the National Ranking of Philanthropists. This is a professional and independent ranking of charity providers that disclose their annual tax records. The winners are selected in various nominations under the following categories:
- ANNUAL CHARITY OF UP TO UAH 1 MILLION
- ANNUAL CHARITY OF UAH 1 MILLION TO UAH 10 MILLION
- ANNUAL CHARITY OF UAH 10 MILLION TO UAH 100 MILLION
- ANNUAL CHARITY OF MORE THAN UAH 100 MILLION
For the second year running, United World Cultures Foundation has been participating in the National Ranking of Philanthropists – as a result, we have been awarded with 2 certificates and placed on the Ukrainian Charity Map.
