Everyone knows that the United World Cultures Foundation likes to make a good mood for people, to paint the day with new colors and to give more wonderful moment of life. This time, we did it together with friends: KATARINA and Flower Avenue.
On November 10, for the Social-Rehabilitation Center "Rodyna", a master-class about making bouquets with sweets was arranged. The designer from the world of floristic Svetlana Romanchenko spent it. Masters started work from the simple things, making sweet flowers. The designer told the pupils about the materials which are best to use in working with sweet bouquets: corrugated paper, the size of the chocolate and their shape. Then they showed everyone how to twist the petals, add candy to the middle of the flower, decorate the paper leaves and make flower-candies in bouquets. Children were pleased with such a seductive sweet master-class. Both, adults and children made several flowers to leave one in memory and the other to present to - Natalia Chigrinets, the owner of the KATARINA store, at the ArtMall shopping center "As a thank you for new, high-quality, stylish and fashionable cloth. From the KATARINA store, children from the “Rodyna” Center got jackets, sweaters, blouses, suits and immediately set up a fashion show.
"It's always pleasure to give presents", says Lyudmila Lysenko, the UWCF’s Project Manager. – The Foundation employees simply wanted to delight, to convey their feelings, to show the dear Center "Rodyna". Even when they are far away, these presents will remind us of that joyous day".
