UWCF Celebrates the Ukrainian Cinema Day at the Kyivska Rus Cinema

On 10 September 2016, to mark the Ukrainian Cinema Day, United World Cultures Foundation organized a visit to the Kyivska Rus Cinema for children of internally displaced persons and ATO participants, as an attempt to give them psychological support.

Children and their parents were cheered up by the cartoon “The Secret Life of Pets” and balloons that kids were happy to play with after leaving the cinema hall. Guests also enjoyed the opportunity to have their family photos taken as a remembrance of that wonderful Saturday.

There is nothing better than a child’s smile! In UWCF’s team, we are happy to have filled kids’ eyes with joy.

United World Cultures Foundation would like to express many thanks to Kyivkinofilm, a municipal enterprise of the Executive Body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration), for the discounted viewing of the cartoon, and the administrative office of the Kyivska Rus Cinema, especially Kostiantyn, Olga, Yulia, and Dmytro, for help in the children’s event management.
