UWCF Brings Medicines to the Family Outpatient Department No. 2 in Avdiyivka to Ensure Urgent Medical Aid to Children

On 11 November 2016, as a part of the program Children of Avdiyivka, United World Cultures Foundation visited the Primary Health Care Centre, a municipal institution operating under the Avdiyivka City Council.

The Family Outpatient Department No. 2 at the Primary Health Care Centre received some medicines necessary for rendering urgent medical aid. These are ampoules of analgin, adrenalin, diphenylhydramine, caffeine, glucose, sodium chloride, salbutamol. In addition, UWCF gifted milk formulas for feeding babies within their first year, to be handed over to young mothers for their new-borns.

Today, there are nearly 1,800 children in Avdiyivka. According to Head of the Family Outpatient Department No. 2, Viktor Dolynskyi, medical care is now needed mostly by children who come to the hospital with symptoms of acute respiratory and viral infections. With this in view, the following is required for treating children:

There are pharmacies working in the city, but considering the prices for medicines, by no means all parents can afford a proper treatment for their child, which is why charity foundation UWCF helps little residents of Avdiyivka to grow healthy.

We would like to address pharmaceutical companies and ask them to join our efforts in helping children who now live in Avdiyivka, Donetsk Region, by providing medicines from the above list.
