The healthcare worker’s profession is one of the few considered to be a higher calling. Doctors are more than just professionals – they are creators. We are all eternally indebted to doctors and bow down to their courage, kindness and tenderness – it is their efforts that keep the world going.
Therapists, surgeons, nurses, all staff in healthcare have to wear special uniforms during their working hours. For doctors to feel comfort while coping with their mission, working clothes need to be as convenient and functional as possible.
At United World Cultures Foundation, we are trying to win affection of healthcare professionals. The medical clothing donated to healthcare workers is both convenient and practical – it commands respect in the society, inspires trust in patients, and gives confidence to doctors.
The campaign “Be in Trend: Medical Uniform” has now visited Kropyvnytskyi in the Central Ukraine, and more specifically – the Regional Exercise Therapy Dispensary of the Kirovohrad Regional Council. We have donated two-piece scrub sets consisting of trousers and tops in various styles and lengths, dresses and vests.
People in healthcare – just like other professionals – seek to look smart and elegant at their workplace.
Lyudmila Lysenko, manager of the UWCF program “Walking to the Health Land”, comments: “Our charitable foundation UWCF could not stay away from healthcare problems because today hospital supplies leave much to be desired, and this affects daily work of medical specialists. I understand really well how difficult these times are for doctors, especially that I have had many members of this profession in my family”.
We at United World Cultures Foundation promise further support to healthcare professionals because we understand: the most important thing – public health – depends on these people.
