Christmas is the most amazing holiday in the entire Christian world, one of the greatest holidays in Ukraine, the day Jesus Christ was born. The program "Let’s Improve Children’s Lives" met with friends volunteers detdom.info, in order to work with the pupils of the Pugachiv Psychoneurological Orphanage, located in Zhytomyr region, go for an unforgettable trip, touch the Christmas miracle and plunge into the colorful atmosphere of the holiday.
On January 7, 2019, on the day of the Nativity of Christ in the National Opera of Ukraine traditional children's holiday "Nativity Scene - 2019" was held.
The festive event was organized for orphans and children from low-income families, children with disabilities and for those who are not able to celebrate Christmas. 1300 children from different regions of Ukraine visited the holiday, including girls from Pugachiv psychoneurological orphanage. The organizers of the "Nativity Scene" were volunteers of the Synodal Department of the UOC in the affairs of youth and the charity organization "Molodist is not indifferent".
Each of us was expecting for his own miracle! United World Cultures Foundation sought to ensure that children from the psychoneurological orphanage undergo social adaptation to society, while the children dreamed of feeling the Spirit of Christmas.
At 13.00 in the foyer of the National Opera of Ukraine for 1300 children various master classes, musical performances and many interesting locations were organized.
The girls sang Christmas songs for fairy tale heroes.
The action on stage was prepared by a team of professionals from "Ukraine has talent" TV show and "X-Factor".
"Nativity of Christ - 2019" complemented the musical component - the participants performed traditional Сhristmas carols. Thus, the children felt their involvement in the Ukrainian cultural tradition. In general, it is a story about goodness, evil, responsibility, high values that are laid out since childhood. In addition, the children felt like an actors. After the concert program, all children received sweet gifts. Special thanks to organizers.
After performance girls were invited for delicious lunch at Svyato-Pokrovskiy Convent.
