This year the Klavdiieve Secondary School І-ІІІ degrees named after Oleksandr Rybalka (Klavdiieve-Tarasove urban-type settlement, Borodianka District of Kyiv Region) has welcomed 77 first-graders.
Boys and girls came to the official school year opening ceremony with their eyes wide open – interested and a bit scared, all dressed up and wearing the traditional vyshyvanka, with hair bows in girls’ hair and bow-ties on boys’ necks. They are full of expectations.
The first-graders are excited to start their school life. According to the rules of the New Ukrainian School, the first cycle of their study will be organized using games methods; the pupils will be given more freedom, no home assignments and no marks.
“Dear friends! The Charity Fund UWCF team sincerely congratulates you on the beginning of a new school year! We wish you to experience the best emotions from the school life and acquire the most useful knowledge! Let your study be easy and the wise teachers help you in achieving the best results! We wish you success in your study, a peaceful sky above your heads and confidence in the future!” – extended these warm congratulations the Fund volunteer Oleksandr Khomenko, and handed over gift bags to the first-graders.
The little schoolchildren received new colored folders with cartoon character image, soap bubbles and pencils.
