The entertainment complex Shooters Kiev hosted a salsa night to raise funds towards the purchase of an electrocardiograph for Centre of Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (MOH). The event was organized by Free Dance Space, Ukrainian Creative Children Foundation and RUMBEROS.
The night could boast fantastic dancing vibes created by the fiery Amador Jose Lopez Rodriguez, Marc Anthony and Olesya Sheppard, as well as dancers from many salsa schools of Kyiv. Alongside lots of dancing, a charity auction and various contests also took place at the fund raising night. The amount of UAH 22,000 raised by the event through the sale of tickets and through the auction was passed by the event’s organizers to the children’s cardiology centre.
United World Cultures Foundation supported this good cause and Natalia Kutsenko, UWCF Director, who visited the dancing night, awarded winners of the dancing competition with gift certificates for UAH 1,000.
