Dear friends, we are happy to inform you that the Kyiv City Center for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Children and the "United World Cultures Foundation" with the support of the Social Policy Department of the KSCA announces the "Drawing my dream" children's drawing contest. All children with disabilities who are registered in Kyiv and kids that were forced to leave the temporarily occupied territories can take part in the contest.
The contest will start on April 20, 2017 and will last until May 25, 2017. Entries are accepted from April 20 to May 18, 2017. During this period, works of the contest participants will be published on the pages of the contest organizers in social networks. On May 19-22, 2017, the results of the Contest will be summarized.
On May 25, 2017, there will be the solemn part of the competition, the announcement of the results, the exhibition of drawings, the presentation of prizes, as well as other attributes of the contest (diplomas, letters of appreciation).
Children with disabilities aged 4 to 18 can become participants of the contest.
The jury will determine the winners of the contest. The overall score is the summation of the evaluations of each member of the jury. According to the results of the contest, winners will be determined in 3 age groups:
4-8 years - 3 prize-winners;
9-14 years - 3 prize-winners;
14-18 years - 3 prize-winners.
Additional prize-winner - "Audience Choice Award" - is the participant whose work will gain the most preferences on the pages of the contest organizers in social networks.
Thus, according to the results of the contest, 10 winners will be determined. All of them will be awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.
Artwork should be carried out on a sheet of A4 paper (21 by 29 cm), without a frame, should not be wrinkled or folded.
