Student Self-Governing organization "Leader" (Solomyansky District Children and Youth Creativity Palace) and children of the International Charity Foundation "Rozvytok" visited the "Kievan Rus'" Park, which is located in a picturesque place, Kopachi village of the Obukhiv district (Kyiv region).
Boys and girls take a new look at history, military affairs, architecture, culture, traditions of our ancestors. This journey into the past will be remembered for a long time.
The entire territory of the "Kievan Rus'" Park is 50 hectares.
"Kievan Rus'" Park – is a Middle Ages city, where all exhibits can be touched. The staff is dressed in suits of the times of "Kievan Rus'", and masters of ancient crafts sells their products on a fair.
The main idea of the park is the reproduction of our historical past: culture, architecture, traditions and ceremonies, folk crafts of the times of "Kievan Rus'" on the basis of historical and archaeological data. And this aspect is very important in the upbringing of the younger generation.
Such events are interesting, they squeak a sense of pride in the past of their country. All children returned from the excursion in a great mood and new impressions.
