On the eve of the holy Easter, we at United World Cultures Foundation announced a new children’s drawing contest called “Easter Miracle” on our pages in social networks and offered kids to draw their understanding of this holiday, in any technique and in any format.
Contest submissions were accepted until and including 18 April. When everyone had enough time to celebrate Easter with all traditional cakes and treats, it was high time for voting that took place on our Facebook page up to and including 26 April. Everyone could vote for their favourite drawings by liking particular photos they loved most in our album with the contest artworks “Easter Miracle”. Winners selected by the public vote in every age category were those drawings that had the highest number of likes. The UWCF team also picked our favourites.
Children of various ages, coming from many regions of Ukraine – and not only Ukraine – took part in the contest.
Out of them, 11 contestants were awarded with diplomas and presents. Unfortunately, the kids had to wait a bit for their presents – it was only after the first easing of the lockdown restrictions that we could send the well-deserved awards to the winners.
