Annotation: Everyone invited to visit the photoexhibition "Children of the World” of the United World Cultures Foundation, which will be held from 10th till 29th of October 2017 in the Mystetkyi Arsenal (Arsenal of Ideas). The event is supported by the Lions Club "Kiev Ecology".
Today, on the world’s political map there are more than 200 countries, all being diverse in their area, geographical location, economic development and cultural traditions.
Amidst high urbanization, nearly half of our planet’s residents live in megapolises, each having its unique features. But little we know about these cultures. In this accelerated tempo of modern living, we pay attention only to the most impressive highlights, leaving beyond the focus so important yet the most vulnerable things – the world of childhood.
Exhibition “Children of the World” shows everyday lives of children in various countries and reveals their differences. These photos are a perfect combination of beauty and simplicity. Children’s joy, habits, their wish to explore the world and find happiness.
The photo exhibition features works by travelling photographers who take pictures of children in various parts of the globe:
Artem Getman, Ukraine
Henry Doctorello, UAE
Nabila Obayed, Bangladesh
Kemal Vural, Turkey
Hague Suza, India
Michael Marquand, USA
LET’S OPEN THE WORLD TOGETHER!
