On 16 December, UWCF team members visited Kyiv State Ballet School and greeted its hard-working and talented students on St. Nicholas Day.
We enjoyed watching a ballet piece dedicated to the most favourite fairy tales. During the 2-hour performance, we saw on the stage the Frog Princess, Three Fat Men, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and remembered the morality stories about the Twelve Months and the Golden Key. All these impersonations were easily and gracefully demonstrated by students of 5-9 classes.
All the fairy tales created a fabulous New Year’s atmosphere with the feel of comfortable and joyful childhood – the time when you believe in Christmas miracles!
For all of the show’s participants, our charity foundation organized a sweet buffet.
In addition, after the performance finished, UWCF staff members presented a certificate for receiving a one-time grant of UAH 2,000, to the concert’s participant – Serhiy Pozniak, 8-class student, whose father is now in the ATO.
United World Cultures Foundation will make every effort to support talented students, and the year 2017 will open doors to the fairy tale given us by ballet.
