"Bolshyie detskie vechernitsy" in support of paediatric cardiology

On 22 November 2015, InterContinental Kyiv Hotel, with support from the United World Cultures Foundation (UWCF), hosted a Charity Ball "Bolshyie detskie vechernitsy" (big children’s nights) from Oleg Skripka.

The United World Cultures Foundation (UWCF) bought out part of the tickets and invited children who undergo medical treatment at the State Scientific and Practical Medical Centre of Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine.

Funds collected from the sale of tickets to the event were used to purchase medical equipment for the Scientific and Practical Medical Centre of Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine where children with congenital heart disease are operated from the first hours of life. The medical centre also provides consultations, cardiology and cardiac surgery care to tens of thousands of children from all regions of Ukraine.
