Japanese tour of Kyiv State Ballet School’s students supported by UWCF
Nobuhiro Terada, UWCF Vice-President, and students of Kyiv State Ballet School are now in Japan. Following long preparations conducted jointly with students of Terada Ballet Art School, Ukrainian students will perform in the ballet The Nutcracker on the stage of the Kyoto National Opera.
The students recognize that this trip is a huge experience and pleasure for them. Trainings proceed in a friendly warm atmosphere, and local students even teach them some Japanese words and traditions. In between trainings, Ukrainian children enjoy opportunities to look around and get the feel of the distant and mysterious Japan, as well as gain inspiration from watching concerts in the Kyoto Opera. Hopefully, these are just the first steps on the way as our mission at UWCF is to create opportunities and open up the world for children!
