Vth Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues of Paediatric Anaesthesiology" Supported by the UWCF

On 17-18 March 2016, at the initiative of the Scientific and Practical Medical Centre of Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine and with support from the United World Cultures Foundation, Bukovel hosted the Vth Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues of Paediatric Anaesthesiology". One hundred and ten representatives of medical institutions from the USA, the UK, France, Switzerland, India, Poland and Ukraine attended the conference. In addition, a number of leading world anaesthesiologists could join the event online using Internet resources.

The International medical conference not only brought together expertize and talent, but also served as an opportunity for doctors to exchange their experiences and to establish close links between health institutions from different countries in order to improve the efficiency of paediatric anaesthesiology and intensive care system since lives of millions of people rely on this healthcare segment.

Today, in the fight for children’s lives, healthcare institutions have certain experience of cooperation with charitable organizations that implement social projects in healthcare area. Understanding the importance of the development of Ukrainian healthcare system and provision of timely care to patients, the Director of the United World Cultures Foundation Natalia Kutsenko in her report elucidated aspects of cooperation between charitable foundations and medical institutions, and urged representatives of healthcare system not to hesitate in searching for help from charitable organizations.
