One of the main goals of the "Our health is in our hands" project of the "Walking to the Healthland" of the “United World Cultures Foundation” Charitable Foundation is the prevention of diseases. The practice of developed countries shows that without the use of expensive medical equipment and medicines, using only preventive measures aimed to overcome the risk factors and to build a healthy lifestyle, the Nordic countries managed to decrease the morbidity of children by 1.5-2 times.
Today, there is a tendency in the world towards convergence and the development of partnerships between doctor and patient. The "Our health is in our hands" project of the "Walking to the Healthland" program of the "UWCF" invited the family doctor volunteer and the first and reliable doctor's assistant - nurse volunteer, to the Social Rehabilitation Center "Family" (for children with severe disabilities, combined disorders - autism, behavioral problems, mental retardation, etc.) to talk about prevention and a timely treatment, on the topic "Every mother needs to know! What to do and what not to do when your child has a fever".
Friendly atmosphere of the conversation helped parents learn how to handle difficult situations.
Conducting appropriate conversations about health is an extremely important element of the "Our health is in our hands» project of the UWCF. Thanks for participating in our project to the volunteers - family doctor Zhondolyan Oksana and nurse Volkhovskaya Eugenia.
