On February 25, 2017 the program and project director Ilona Knyshuk and director of the Foundation "United World Cultures Foundation" Elena Kobets together with friends of the fund - the volunteers of the International public organization "Social harmony» - visited Bila Tserkva orphanage, where more than 170 children with special needs between the ages of 8 and 35 years old are raised(cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, epilepsy, mental and physical development disorders, moderate and severe mental retardation).
Charitable Foundation "United World Cultures Foundation" donated a laptop to the orphanage. Children were happy to see this miracle of technology.
According to the tradition made up by Social Harmony volunteers , an art practice was held for children of junior, middle and youth groups, where they with the help of their friends, who had come on a Saturday morning for a visit, made crafts and wonderful flower arrangements to congratulate their teachers on March 8.
This time, Ilona and Elena (the UWCF) together with the Social Harmony volunteers took care of the children of the youth group. Time passed very quickly, as they were talking about football, Eurovision preliminaries, Ukrainian regional centers and minerals. A quick lesson of the Ukrainian language was held: they repeated synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms. Then there was a photo shoot, the children love to be photographed! They walked us to the very gate asking for our come back!
