More than 300 boys and girls from more than 10 countries will participate in the third international youth competition-festival of classical dance "Grand Prix Kyiv", which will be held in Kyiv from 24 to 26 March 2017.
Like last year, the festival will be held with the support of Charitable Foundation "United World Cultures Foundation" (UWCF) at the National Opera of Ukraine.
Young dancers aged 15 to 18 years from Ukraine, Japan, USA, UAE, Norway, Germany, Kazakhstan, Moldova will take part in the competition. The purpose of the festival is to draw attention to the state of choreographic education in Ukraine, to support talented children of Ukrainian ballet schools, to establish communication between the choreographic schools around the world and find true talent.
As the director of the competition, Vice-President of the "United World Cultures Foundation", People's Artist of Ukraine, Nobuhiro Terada says, "Grand Prix Kyiv" is a unique opportunity for young dancers to start a successful professional career. It is also a platform for experimentation and demonstration of achievements of modern choreography.
