St. Nicholas Day in a specialized orphanage in Zhytomyr region

Representatives of the Foundation "United World Cultures Foundation / UWCF) and volunteers from detdom.info visited pupils of Puhachiv Orphanage (where children are suffering from mental retardation, Down syndrom, deprived of parental care and orphans) to celebrate St. Nicholas Day together.

The Charitable Foundation "United World Cultures Foundation"(UWCF) gave gifts to everyone. The girls from the orphanage recieved sweets, fruits, toys, children's favorite magazine "Kid Kotya", and the administration of the Puhachiv orphanage was given a modern computer.

The most interesting gift for the pupils of the Puhavhic orphanage on the eve of St. Nicholas Day was "The Mitten" play. The play impressed the audience very much,and even one of the pupils of the orphanage, who has a very complicated form of the disease, started to applaud, even though, it was really difficult for her ...

In the end, hand in hand, the girls were dancing around the Christmas tree, which they had decorated together with the volunteers. And of course they took a lot of photos.

Kobets Elena, the director of the Foundation "United World Cultures Foundation", has also conveyed her greeting to the children: "Today it is especially important to multiply and give warmth, to protect it from the cold of life. I wish that you will never be left alone in trouble. Let there always be people around you who can help.
