The UWCF congratulated nurses on International Nurses Day

Today, on May 12, the United World Cultures Foundation congratulated the nurses of the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine on International Nurses Day.

Congratulations to the nurses on their day! We wish you good health, spring mood, family happiness, prosperity and respect from your colleagues and patients.

Every year on May 12, the world medical community celebrates the International Nurses Day. The holiday has been celebrated since the unification of nurses from 141 countries into a professional public organization - the International Council of Nurses.

Within the "Protection of Mother and Child Health. IPOG NAMS of Ukraine'' project of the "Walking into the Healthland" program, the United World Cultures Foundation visited nurses of the Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine to congratulate them on International Nurses Day.

- It is very pleasant that there are so many people who are ready for dedicated work, that requires professionalism, responsibility, humane treatment of patients and tolerance. Each of you is a reliable support for doctors. We are grateful for your hard work, - project manager Lyudmila Lysenko addressed to the nurses.

- Nurses are the first assistants to a doctor, as it is the nurses who perform all necessary medical procedures on an outpatient visit, in inpatient departments of medical institutions and in emergency medical teams. The quality of medical care for patients and the preservation of their health depend on their work, their sincere kindness, genuine humanism and professionalism. Our task is to improve the quality of medical services by creating comfortable conditions for your work, " said Elena Kobets, director of the Foundation.

A festive mood was created by the musical congratulations of the folklore ensemble "Pershotsvit" of the Kyiv Children's Art School No. 2 named after I. M. Verikivsky under the direction of Julia Gershtun and concertmaster Sergei Konovalenko.
