Baby Shower - a celebration of a mom-to-be!

The "United World Cultures Foundation" does everything for children and their future! We think of little angels even before they are born. We thank our partners - the Mama WOW project and its leader Natalia Rybachik – for supporting us. Every woman, especially a pregnant one, traditionally expects gifts for the Day of Spring and Femininity. Therefore, every guest of the Baby Shower-2017 festival could get the most positive emotions before the birth of a little baby.

The term shower is often assumed to mean that the future mother is literally " showered" with gifts that are very sweet and thematic. This pleasant tradition came to Ukraine from America, and is already very popular in Western Europe.

It was, indeed, a party for moms! During the day, more than 200 people attended the event. The young mothers and the future ones, who are united by love for children and desire to create a happy future for them, gathered there. Nobody was left without gifts; there were photo zones, and most importantly there was communication. Experienced moms and experts shared valuable experience and information that could be useful for a young mother. The guests were truly delighted with babywearing consultations and breastfeeding expert from the "Dairy Rivers" company. The bright moments of the holiday were caught by the Public Children's Internet TV and Radio "Rainbow" and the Babyphotosta production center.

The highlight of the holiday was a rally of two books from the United World Cultures Foundation from the exclusive millionth edition of the "Encyclopedia for Parents" entitled "You and Your Baby". In 2013, the total circulation of the Encyclopedia reached one million copies. The book is unique, because it gives practical recommendations on family planning, preparation for childbirth, breastfeeding, proper nutrition, childcare, upbringing and development of children to 7 years. Issued under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The Flashmob of the United World Cultures Foundation on the subject "There is no such thing as other people's children" did not go unheeded. In support of children with disabilities, the guests of the holiday created a poster where both adults and children made handprints to demonstrate openness and the desire for communication with children with disabilities.

"We fully support the idea of inclusive education. But at the Baby Shower our foundation wanted to draw attention to another aspect - that there should be no boundaries in the communication between children in Ukraine and the whole world. Such festivals should become a good tradition in all regions of Ukraine. After all, a mother needs to feel support at all stages of the child's growing up. A festive and warm atmosphere gives positive emotions and energy. We hope that this lovely holiday has brightened up the women's lives and gave them pleasant emotions. A happy and contented mother is a healthy baby and easy childbirth, " says Olesya Tarasenko, executive director of the UWCF.
