Shevchenko’s literary contribution will live for centuries

“A window to the world of knowledge” is the name of the place where information flows are collected, promoted and disseminated, this is a library. It enriches a person, gives him the opportunity to become more educated and experienced, to participate in public and political life, he teaches himself to make decisions and promote cultural development.

The library of the Zhytomyr Technological College of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture on the occasion of the 205th anniversary of the T. Shevchenko birth, was attended by the “Trolley of books” action of the United World Cultures Foundation. The Bogdan Kupchinsky, Chairman of the Zhytomyr City Children's Public Organization handed over magazines and educational literature from the UWCF Charitable Foundation.

Zhytomyr Technological College of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture is one of the oldest educational institutions in Ukraine and has a more than 105-year history. Every year, the college graduates highly qualified mid-level specialists for many branches.

March belongs to the memories of the greatest Ukrainian genius, poet, artist – Taras Shevchenko. He will forever remain the great Kobzar and father of the newest Ukrainian nation.

On March 11, 2019, on the occasion of the 205th anniversary of the birth of the great patriot of Ukraine, her famous son - Taras Shevchenko, the library of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture was replenished with the publication of the international business magazine «Image.ua». The third issue of the publication was completely devoted to the life and work of Taras Shevchenko. Eternal Shevchenko’s word, that inspires, excites consciousness. His word ignites in the hearts of love to his native language, to his people. In preparing the material for the issue, the editors used the archive of the Institute of Literature. The UWCF task and libraries is to ensure the scientific development and self-development of the individual, to bring up a harmonious, morally perfect person, to teach readers to work, learn, affirm, promote and disclose the contents of human values, historical, scientific and cultural heritage of the Motherland.
