The book is an eternal source of knowledge and motivation

Date: May 2019

The "Cartload of Books" of the United World Cultures Foundation is not just an action, it leads us into a fascinating journey through the country of Knowledge: it tells about how to grow bread and build houses. From the book, young readers will learn about the past and the present day. "Cartload of Books" action selects and delivers favorite books to the homes and hearts of many young Ukrainians, helping the new generation to learn the world, shape values and educate the best.

The book helps to "stop the world", to escape from the cycle, to think. After all, a new way of life – where every minute with the cell phone calls, where everybody communicate through social networks - inevitably generates superficiality in the perception of phenomena, constant rush, inability to listen and hear the other.

United World Cultures Foundation pays great attention to the educational direction, in particular book distribution. The Fund replenishes the book funds of educational institutions, libraries, museums of mini-libraries, collections of books and albums, as well as conducts promotions on the transfer of books to institutions.

On the occasion of the 205th anniversary of T. Shevchenko's birth, the UWCF Charity Fund "Cartload of Books" campaign went to Korostyshiv Specialized General Education Boarding School and replenished the library not only with modern new editions of well-known Ukrainian authors but also with the publication of the international business magazine "Image.ua", the third issue of which was entirely devoted to the life and work of Taras Shevchenko.

Director of the Korostyshiv Special Secondary School Orphanage Vitaliy Makarchuk thanked employees of the United World Cultures Foundation for their care and generosity, for replenishing the library's funds with literature.

We believe that young readers will be very pleased to meet new literary heroes of books and dip into the historical past of our country.
