It often happens that wearing a few times almost a new thing, she ceases to like it, and we just throw away into the closet. But few people know that there are people who do not have the opportunity to buy such clothes for themselves.
Volunteer Oksana Markevych organized a humanitarian aid point in Klavdievo-Tarasovo village (Kyiv region). Here all the needy can take the necessary things for them: clothes, shoes, children's toys.
This item is supported by the program “Let’s Improve Children’s Lives”. Residents who find themselves in difficult life circumstances can get humanitarian aid in it: disabled people, families of ATO participants, large families and low-income families. Humanitarian aid is donated by fundraisers of the UWCF Fund, including Julia Belskaya.
“Today, thousands of Ukrainians are on the verge of poverty and cannot even buy clothes and shoes in second-hand stores. We have a lot of jeans, dresses, skirts, T-shirts, shirts, jackets. People mostly ask for shoes,” - says volunteer Oksana Markevych.
According to the speech of the head of the UWCF Charitable Foundation, Olena Kobets, the main objective of the program is to help vulnerable people: large families, students, disabled people, low-income families and displaced people from the East of Ukraine and Crimea. Also, those families who have minimal incomes and are now in a crisis situation can count for support.
Thanks to everyone who joined this event and contributed a bit of their warmth to the charity!
