International Children’s Drawing Contest “Get Well Soon, Earth”

Date: March-May 2020

The ‘superheroes’ of Earth unite against the coronavirus 2019- COVID-19 and send their art works to the International Children’s Drawing Contest “Get Well Soon, Earth”, in order to walk confidently and joyfully to the Health Land together with the UWCF’s program “Walking to the Health Land”. They have extraordinary magical abilities and regular supporters: “Lucky Ukraine” – the first blog-magazine of Ukraine, MamaWOW, children’s TV studio “Channel 33”, Podium real, children’s portal “Children in the City”, ART FOUNDATION, which secretly help them.

The International Children’s Drawing Contest “Get Well Soon, Earth” has been running for more than a month, supported by the UWCF’s program “Walking to the Health Land”. The contest was initiated by a young woman from Kyiv, a ‘superheroine’ and founder of the project ArtKidsEurope, Yelizaveta Rudyka, who herself and her whole family are taking steps towards a healthy planet every day.

Our children are our future and the future of our planet. Little superheroes paint the planet happy and healthy every day. The number of wonderful art works is increasing every day, and by today, we have received about 200 works. Little superheroes send their works from France, USA, India and Ukraine.

The organizers of the contest are sure that participants will be able to not only show their artistic talent, but will also find new friends among creative youth from different parts of the world.

The UWCF’s program “Walking to the Health Land” and the international art project to support talented children and youth ArtKids Europe, joined and became part of the global movement GivingTuesdayNow — a global day of goodness dedicated to the fight against Covid-19.

#GivingTuesdayNOW is a global solidarity initiative in response to the pandemic, and Ukraine has also joined to support the Good Deeds Day, announcing #GivingTuesdayNOW
