The British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) compiled the ranking of the best universities in the world. Ukrainian universities got into the second half of the list.

Thus, Vasyl' Karazin Kharkiv National University was named the best among Ukrainian universities. The second best Ukrainian university in the international ranking is Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Then, there are also Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic University", Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University and Sumy State University.

The best universities in the world are:

1 place - Massachusetts Institute of Technology;

2 place - Stanford University;

3 place - Harvard University;

4 place - California Institute of Technology;

5 place - Cambridge University.
