Bad eyesight reduces the quality of life. Luxoptika company and the “United World Cultures Foundation" continued to expand the territory of kindness visiting the Mykolaivka community (Donetsk region) with the All-Ukrainian project "I Give Care".
For three days, optometrist doctors performed a free visual acuity check every day, measured the pressure (in particular, patients with visual impairment) and made recipes for the production of free glasses from "Luxoptika".
On July 27-28, 249 patients were screened in the premises of the Children's Outpatient Clinic in Mykolaivka (Donetsk region) and 228 patients got prescription.
On July 29, in the premises of the medical dispensary in Ray- Oleksandrivka village - 98 people were examined, 90 of them got recipes for glasses.
Almost every one of us sooner or later finds himself in an ophthalmologist's office to check the visual acuity. We always want to be useful not only for adults who had the need to test and correct eyesight (only 347 patients in three days) but also for children. During three days we were conducted of survey of the children, giving parents the fullest information about the state of their eyesight. It is very important to remember that human eyes can see as well as they have learned to see before school starts.
The attention of the inhabitants of the Mykolaivka community was emphasized that the examination and selection of glasses should be carried out exclusively by the ophthalmologist, since the correct definition of visual acuity, field of view, is possible only with the use of special diagnostic equipment and the instructions of the doctor on the selection of glasses.
The residents of Mykolaivka community, you are the best, you are the most caring parents! We wish you the brightness of light and richness of color!
