UWCF provide help the residents of Mykolayivka city (united territorial community)

The United World Cultures Foundation within the framework of the programs "Walking To The Health Land", "Let’s Improve Children's Lives", "Children of Avdyiyvka" continues to help children and adults from ATO zone (Joint Forces Operation, earlier known as the Anti-Terrorist Operation), who suffered as a result of military operations. The Foundation always directs its efforts to where it is necessary, relying on the humanitarian needs of the peaceful inhabitants of Donbass.

This time, the UWCF Charity Foundation provided free assistance to the Mykolaiv urban united territorial community, which is located in the Slavyan district of the Donetsk region. Hromada was established on July 21, 2015 with the administrative center in the Mykolayvka city. It includes 11 settlements - 1 city (Mykolayivka) and 10 villages: Vasyutinske, Malynivka, Nikonovka, Orekhovatka, Pershomarevka, Piskunovka, Ray-Olexandrivka, Starodubovka, Tikhonovka and Yurkivka.

The help was transferred to the health care institutions serving residents of Mykolayivka citi. The main beneficiaries of assistance are internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, large families and foster families, elderly people, and low-income families.

The municipal treatment and prophylactic establishment "Slovyans’kyi Central District Hospital" received medicines from Arterium (for a total of 23 334.40 UAH) and a rice mix of Manna Pack (12 609.80 UAH).

The medicine Lovastatin for total amount 51,840.00 UAH received the Municipal institution "Center for Primary Health Care" of the Slovyans’kyi District, Donetsk region.



Thanks for help and cooperation to Elena Nikolaevna Tsykunova, the Chairman of the Mykolaivka City United Territorial Community, who making many efforts to increase the humanitarian assistance to the population, looking for effective ways to address the humanitarian need, primarily for socially vulnerable people - pensioners, parents with children and people with special needs, internally displaced persons.

Special gratitude is expressed to Bondarenko Eduard Mykolyovych, General Director of Donbassenergo company, for his charity, dedicated work for society, unshakable faith in the Ukrainian people and constant support of the Fund's activities. Thanks to you, UWCF has the opportunity to implement many different charitable projects, while helping children, socially unprotected parts of the population, educational, cultural and health institutions, including on the territory of Mykolaivka UTK.

This is far from the last action, and the team of the UWCF Charity Fund will continue to support the Mykolaivka City United Territorial Community of the Slovian’skyi district, Donetsk region. And in a short time, residents of the community, who were examined by ophthalmologists during the All-Ukrainian project "I give care", will get their glasses made by Luxoptika company.
